So, what did you learn on how to "tune down" a blowdryer? Interesting!

Best wishes to you too.

Comment on The Dreaded Haircut...

I know your challenges well. I'm raising a granddaughter with a Traumatic Brain Injury resulting from Shaken Baby Syndrome, sensory is a big issue, I've taken on a challenge myself to figure out a way to "tune down" the blow dryer. I am also in the beginning process of a wonderful new adventure for special kids only!! I'll keep you informed. It's hard enough raising kids without any disabilities. His sister seems to be handling things very well. Does she help him get into the wheelchair van? Hang in there!

Comment on Freelance writer- specializing in special needs / medical topics for hire!

Hey Jenn... you're a fantastic writer. You always have been. And you know that I'm not just saying that because you're my little sister... you truly are. I'm so glad that you are following your passion! :-)

Comment on Freelance writer- specializing in special needs / medical topics for hire!

Thanks! I agree- I do too much paperwork that involves my son.
I think I find updating the resume particularly difficult because I'm self-employed. And, I'm trying to work in the volunteer & advocacy work I've done too. It's a challenge.
My actual "writer's resume" is more focused. Wish I were working on that one instead!
